What exactly am I trying to do here

I would like to work both with Unity Shaders and Blender's grease pencil. To what end, exactly, I still feel a little bit fuzzy on.
I suppose a final goal of mine would be to create some sort of interactive diorama--a small scene with some models and elements for a player to mess around with. I want this diorama to utilize a bunch of different visual artistic styles of my own creation that the player can switch between or manipulate (i.e. making the scene look like it was rendered in colored pencil, or marker, or oil paint, etc). This could be achieved either through shader magic, or through, what I expect to be the more taxing method, using Blender's grease pencil to hand draw elements (truly, both methods will be taxing considering I'm learning both from scratch).
I'm sure my goals and plans might change and adapt over time, as well as my ideas for what I want my finished project to be, but for now the track I'm following is simply familiarizing myself with these technologies, and looking for media by artists that inspire me to hopefully narrow down my plans a little more.
